Vinted bot: what it really does, and what it doesn't

What a Vinted bot is

A Vinted bot is software that automates part of a reseller's work. On the market you will find three families, often confused:

• Monitor and alerts: watches the searches you set and alerts you as soon as a matching listing appears. You open the alert and buy.
• Assisted buying: on top of the alert, it takes you to a ready checkout. One tap and the order goes; the decision stays yours.
• Auto-buy (purchase rules): you set the criteria once and the software tries to buy on its own when it finds a match.

What actually works

The solid value of a bot is monitoring: software checks your searches with a consistency no human can match, night included.

Auto-buy is another story: between anti-bot checks, CAPTCHAs and competition, automatic checkout has a variable success rate on any tool. The honest word is best effort.

How to choose a bot

• Real alert latency: ask for numbers. The gap between real time and every ten minutes is the whole value of the product.
• Serious filters: keywords, price, size, condition, brand, category. Without good filters, alerts become noise.
• Honest auto-buy claims: anyone guaranteeing that every automatic purchase succeeds is promising something that cannot be guaranteed.
• No plain-text credentials: a serious service encrypts the session and lets you revoke access at any time.

Argus as a Vinted bot

Argus is a hosted Vinted bot: nothing to install, no computer left on. It watches your searches in real time on several national Vinted markets, sends instant push alerts to your phone with photo, price, size and seller, takes you to checkout in one tap, offers purchase rules as best effort, and keeps orders, inventory and margins in a dashboard.

Plus costs €24.99/month (30 searches, 1 Vinted account). Pro costs €49.99/month (50 searches, 3 accounts). The free Basic plan shows ready-made searches and the listings Argus finds; your own searches start with Plus. No free trial.
